Historic Jewish Voter Turnout in Westchester In New York's 16th District, thanks to the efforts of our voter mobilization arm Westchester Unites, Jewish voters turned out and voted in unprecedented numbers for the June 25 Democratic primary: - 15,508 Jewish voters—representing 60.13% of all eligible Jewish voters in Westchester—cast a ballot.
- The Jewish population voted at 2.5X the rate of the rest of district voters.
This has truly historic implications. Never has there been such a large and organized campaign to mobilize the Jewish community to vote. And this is just the beginning of many more Jewish voting efforts nationally.

Teach MD Teach MD finished this year's legislative session with another policy win for the second year in a row. Last year's victory—the first time in Maryland's history of bringing state funding for school nurses to nonpublic schools—has now been followed by the creation of a pilot program to begin the process of bringing transportation assistance to our schools. Working with our coalition partners, Teach MD advocated for this pilot program's passage, and will now work with legislators and agencies to craft the nuts and bolts of the program for maximum impact to help families and schools. These small victories strategically open the door in Maryland for growth of program funding and expansion of different forms of aid.
